Tourist arrivals to Mongolia surge in four months
According to recent statistics, Mongolia welcomed 208,028 foreign tourists during the first four months of the year. This marks a significant 35 percent increase, or 54,260 visitors, compared to the same period in 2025.
April alone saw 64,597 tourists entering the country, representing a 26 percent rise from April of the previous year. The continued growth highlights a positive trend as Mongolia approaches its peak tourism season.
In response to this upward momentum, the Ministry of Culture, Sport, Tourism, and Youth, together with its affiliated organizations, is prioritizing efforts to enhance service quality, expand international promotion, and improve regional tourism infrastructure. These initiatives aim to support sustainable growth and ensure a better experience for visitors.
