Total is one of the largest strategic investors - Kazakh First Vice Prime Minister

At the meeting, the sides discussed cooperation in oil and gas industry and Kashagan oilfield development. Bakytzhan Sagintayev and Patrick Pouyanné also touched upon geological exploration works in Aktobe region. The First Vice Prime Minister of Kazakhstan also pointed out that Total has been present in Kazakhstan for more than two decades and is one of the largest strategic investors. In conclusion, the sides reaffirmed their interest in further deepening of cooperation in oil and gas sector.
