Tommy Robredo cruises past Kazakh tennis player at Roland Garros

ASTANA-PARIS. KAZINFORM - On Monday Spanish veteran Tommy Robredo overcame the challenge of lucky loser Andrey Golubev of Kazakhstan at Roland Garros in Paris, France.
Golubev ranked 135th in the world fought to the end of the four-set match eventually succumbing to Robredo. The Spaniard hit four aces and made one double fault to oust Golubev 3:6, 6:1, 7:5, 6:3. In the second round Robredo will face Croatian young gun Borna Coric who surprised the Paris crowd by defeating more experienced American Sam Querrey. Earlier it was reported that another representative of Kazakhstan Mikhail Kukushkin also wrapped up his Roland Garros campaign after losing to Israeli Dudi Sela. Source: Vesti.kz.
