Tokyo sees off Japanese national team to 7th Asian Games
ASTANA. January 25. KAZINFORM Kazakh Ambassador Akylbek Kamaldinov took part in a seeing off ceremony of the Japanese national team to the 7th Asian Games which will be held in Astana and Almaty.
Parliamentary Secretary of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology of Japan Hirofumi Ryu, former Japanese Prime Minister Yoshiro Mori, president of Japan Olympic Committee Tsunekazu Takeda took part in the ceremony; the press service of the Kazakh Foreign Ministry reports.
Noting full readiness of the Asiada's sports facilities, the Kazakh Ambassador emphasized that thanks to stable economic growth and political stability Kazakhstan has an opportunity to worthily organize and carry out international events.
The Kazakh diplomat expressed hope that within the visit to Kazakhstan the Japanese athletes will have an opportunity to get familiarized with rich culture and traditions of multinational people of Kazakhstan.
A.Kamaldinov and the gathered discussed the development prospects of cooperation of the two countries in the cultural-humanitarian and scientific-technical spheres.
