Tokayev extends National Day greetings to Thai King Maha Vajiralongkorn
President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev congratulated King of Thailand Maha Vajiralongkorn on the National Day, Akorda reports.
In his congratulatory letter, the Kazakh leader highlighted the significant progress Thailand has made in its social and economic development as well as in the international arena.
President Tokayev conformed the commitment to further deepening of cooperation built on traditional friendship and trust-based political dialogue.
In August this year, Kazakhstan and Thailand reached the economic cooperation agreement, as both countries’ trade turnover reached $367mln in 2023.
Earlier, President Tokayev discussed the current state and prospects of further development of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) with Bakytzhan Sagintayev, chairman of the Eurasian Economic Commission Board.
