Thunderstorm, strong wind expected on April 14
ASTANA. KAZINFORM - Rain, fog, strong winds are expected in the southern and south-eastern parts of Kazakhstan, according to Kazhydromet.
Thunderstorm and strong winds of 15-20 mps will rule the day in Zhambyl, South Kazakhstan, Kyzylorda, and Almaty regions of the country. Wind will strengthen in Mangystau, East Kazakhstan, Aktobe regions. Fog will blanket Karaganda and Akmola regions. Strong wind of 15-20 mps and for is forecasted for Kostanay region. Wind of 15-20 mps, fog in the morning is predicted for North-Kazakhstan region. In the next day on the rivers of Karaganda, Akmola, Kostanay, North Kazakhstan, Aktobe regions water levels will rise. Flood situations on the rivers of the mentioned regions will continue to progress. Complex hydrological conditions still remain in Karaganda region. Destruction of ice, formation of blockings, sharp rises in water levels, spills and flooding are forecasted for the eastern areas of the republic.
