Three dead in helicopter crash in Dominican Republic

BUENOS AIRES. October 16. KAZINFORM Three people have died in a helicopter crash on the south of Dominican Republic, the Dominican Institute for civil aviation has reported; Kazinform refers to RIA Novosti.

The accident occurred in San Jose de Ocoa province on Thursday evening. The Colibri light helicopter took off from the capital, Santo Domingo, and crashed into a mountain in heavy rain. The bodies of the pilot and two passengers have been found.

The helicopter belonged to Dominican consul in Haiti, who was not on board; Kazinform cites RIA Novosti.
