Third stage of the Cup in clay target shooting starts in Astana
ASTANA. July 31. KAZINFORM The third stage of the Cup of the Republic of Kazakhstan in clay target shooting will take place in Astana from 1 to 5 of August, as it is reported by the press service of the RoK Agency for sport and physical education affairs.
"The best shooters of Kazakhstan will come to compete for the prestige trophy, the republican Cup. Approximately 100 sportsmen from Astana, Almaty, Kyzylorda, South Kazakhstan region, Kostanay and Pavlodar will take part in the competitions", - notes the press service of the agency.
Another stage of the Cup starts in the capital on August 1. Among participants there are adult sportsmen, men and women, girls and lads aged above 15 years. Shooters will compete in two exercises: skeet shooting and compact sporting.
The solemn opening will take place on August 2. The results of the RoK Cup in clay target shooting will be known on August 4.
This year Open championship of Astana city will be held simultaneously with the Cup.
The first stage of the Cup was held in Shymkent. The tournament on the shooting area "Eldorado" took place at skeet and trench shooting. Team of South Kazakhstan took the lead in team classification. Team from Almaty is on the second place. And Astana teams is the third prize winner.
The second stage coincided with the international tournament in clay target shooting dedicated to the master of sports Alexander Asanov.
