The presentation of a biographical book about President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev took place in Budapest
BUDAPEST. KAZINFORM - On April 28, 2014, the presentation of a book by Mahmoud Kassymbekov "Nursultan Nazarbayev. Biography" published in the Hungarian language, took place in the capital of Hungary, the city of Budapest, Kazinform refers to the Foreign Ministry of Kazakhstan.
The book represents the first experience of official historical and biographical study of the life and activity of Nursultan Nazarbayev. It traced his way from an ordinary rural youth to a national leader.
Emphasis is placed on the political biography of Nursultan Nazarbayev, which has been given in historical retrospect of dramatic and controversial events and processes that accompanied the development of Kazakhstan at the turn of XX-XXI centuries.
Prepared on the basis of an extensive array of archival materials, the biography is a significant source of documentary on the recent history of Kazakhstan. It, for the first time, along with the significant photo-illustrative material, authentically reproduces the copies of personal documents, allowing the readers to deeply immerse themselves in the atmosphere of the events described.
Of particular value the fact that the author of this edition is - Head of the Chancellery of President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Doctor of Political Sciences, Professor Mahmoud Kassymbekov - has been working directly subordinate to the head of state for many years and is professionally engaged in the study of the presidency.
His scientific and creative heritage includes scientific monographs, textbooks, multi-volume serials, journalistic collections, numerous articles dedicated to the institution of the presidency, political activity of Nursultan Nazarbayev.
It is no coincidence that since its release in 2012, the biographical book about President of Kazakhstan has become of particular interest both in the motherland and abroad. In a short period of time it has been translated and published in the Russian, English and Arabic languages.
The Hungarian version of the book was published with the support of the Embassy of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Hungary. The presentation ceremony, which was held at the Hungarian Academy of Sciences, was attended from the Hungarian side by Minister of Rural Development Sándor Fazekas, Doyen of the Hungarian Parliament Janos Horvath, Honorary Consul of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Hungary Laszlo Horvath and other officials, representatives of scientific and creative intelligentsia, the Kazakh Diaspora in Hungary, journalists and students.
The Kazakh side was represented by the author of the book Mahmoud Kassymbekov, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Kazakhstan to Hungary Nurbakh Rustemov, deputy of the Senate of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Chairman of the Union of Writers of Kazakhstan Nurlan Orazalin, Deputy Head of the Chancellery of the President of Kazakhstan Bahytzhan Temirbolat, Rector of the Eurasian National University named after L.N. Gumilev Erlan Sydykov, executive director of the Library of the First President of Kazakhstan Meir Eskendirov.
The meeting took place in an atmosphere of warm and trusting dialogue. The participants of the presentation were unanimous that the book about the leader of Kazakhstan published in the Hungarian language- is another concrete step towards rapprochement between the two friendly nations.
In the afternoon, with the participation of the Kazakh delegation, a solemn opening ceremony of the Honorary Chair "The Kazakhstan's path and Nursultan Nazarbayev" took place at the University of Applied Sciences named after Janos Kodolanyi in Székesfehérvár.
This project was implemented by the Hungarian side in partnership with the Kazakh National Pedagogical University named after Abay (Almaty), with the support of the Library of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Embassy of Kazakhstan in Hungary.
As noted by the speakers at the ceremony, Head of the Chancellery of President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Mahmoud Kassymbekov, Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Hungary Nurbakh Rustemov, Rector of the Kazakh National Pedagogical University named after Abay Serik Praliev and Rector of the University of Applied Sciences named after Janos Kodolanyi Peter Szabo, the opening of this scientific and educational centre at one of the leading universities in Hungary will allow students and teachers to learn more about modern Kazakhstan, specificity and prospects of its development, history and culture of the Kazakh people, the activities of President Nursultan Nazarbayev as well as will give additional impetus to the joint scientific and research projects.
The Kazakh side has granted a large set of books about Kazakhstan to the library of the university as a gift.
