The number of people engaged in small and medium business increased in the capital
ASTANA. December 25. KAZINFORM As of December 1, 2013 in Astana the number of people engaged in small and medium business increased by 9.0% and amounted to 179 558 people. This information was given to astana.kz by the press service of the metropolitan Department of statistics.
The agency also notes that the output by small and medium business also increased over January-November 2013. In comparison with the similar period of the past year the exponent increased by 2.6% and amounted to 1 087 743 million tenge.
At the same time the number of small and medium business subjects as of December 1, 2013 actively engaged at the market reduced by 0.9% in comparison with the similar period of the past year and amounted to 47 350 units, including 6 806 legal entities, 40 539 individual entrepreneurs, and 6 peasant households.
