The greatest Kazakh poetess passes away

ASTANA. January 24. KAZINFORM After a long bout of illness Fariza Ungarssynova, the greatest Kazakh poetess, passed away on January 23 at the age of 75.
Fariza Ungarssynova was born December 25, 1939 in Atyrau region. She is an author of a variety of poetical books and publications, a laureate of State Prize of Kazakhstan. Awarded with Dostyk Order. In the her works the poetess urged love and respect for our nation, its traditions and culture.
