The Great Silk Road: China to build university in Taraz

According to the Kazakh delegation headed by academician of the National Academy of Natural Sciences of Kazakhstan Rashid Bakirov, the forum was organized by the China Zhi Gong Party Dang. The purpose of the event is to explore the possibilities of building new facilities in several countries which passed the ancient trade route and to discuss the prospects of cooperation in the framework of creating the economic belt of the Great Silk Road, said Mr.R.Bakirov. Guests from Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan and Tajikistan have visited the oldest and largest educational institute of the Shaanxi province - Peihua University. At a meeting with representatives of the Central Asian delegation rector and owner of Peyhua University Mr. Jiang Bo said that China plans to build a university on the Great Silk Road. "My dream is to build a new international university on the route of the Great Silk Road. There would get education students from China, Kazakhstan and the Central Asian countries. This would be our contribution to cooperation along the Silk Road", said Mr. Jiang Bo. He noted that Taraz is called the center of the Silk Road. That is why it is planned that the university will be constructed in the city of Taraz. This statement voiced by the rector of Peihua University was greeted with massive applause from the Kazakh delegation.
