According to the newspaper, the boy was playing on the balcony and suddenly fell out of it crashing through the roof of a parking lot before hitting a concrete floor.

Doctors at the Middlemore Hospital, where the boy was rushed after the falling, said it was a miracle as the teenager only suffered a broken wrist, a broken rib, a gouged leg and internal injuries.

Witnesses say the sound from the impact after the 40-50 meters (130-165 feet) plunge was so strong that at first people thought it was a car crash.

Jason Epps-Eades, the manager of the residential apartment block, said the roof of the parking lot probably saved his life. Kazinform cites RIA Novosti. See www.en.rian.ru
