TEA alumni workshop held in Astana

Over 80 alumni and educators gathered to train each other on topics ranging from innovative teaching methodologies and technologies to creating specialized camps for the study of linguistics, the US Diplomatic Mission to Kazakhstan said.

The conference participants also benefited from a visit by Dr. Dennis Ryan, a visiting American expert on special education, who discussed the importance of including children with special needs in typical schools and the benefits of such programs on both groups of children.
