Tasmaganbetov: New Central Heating Power Plant to be built in Astana
ASTANA. January 21. KAZINFORM - New central heating power plant -3 (CHPP-3) will be constructed in Astana, this has been announced by Akim of Astana city Imangali Tasmagambetov.
«In this regard energy administration should focus on the strategic facility CHPP-3, on the completion of substations' construction along with VL-220 ring and timely commissioning of transmission networks including civil engineering infrastructure of the Industrial Park's second stage», said Tasmagambetov at a meeting in Astana on the discussion of the President's Address to the Nation: «Kazakhstan's way-2050: common goal, common interests, common future».
As it was previously reported, the fist phase of CHPP-3 is scheduled to be launched in 2015. ""220 kV" Ring has been launched and successfully operated on a constant power supply circuit. Seventy five kilometers of air and cable lines will be replaced by 2016 to ensure further reliability of transported electricity", said the Akim of the capital.
According to I.Tasmagambetov's words the spheres will be developed with the reference to the stated theme of the upcoming international exhibition EXPO-2017.
On the whole 80 kilometers of transmission networks will be built in Astana by 2017.
