Taraz student driven to suicide

A criminal case was started after the police found a suicide note, in which the girl wrote that she was exposed to psychological and physical pressure from the two girls extorting money from her.

This version was not confirmed during the investigation. The girl's friends described her as a girl with an open and strong character, able to fend for herself. Educators and psychologists have noted good progress in her studies, press service of the regional police department told Kazinform.

Investigators are working on another version - the day before the suicide the student was not admitted to one of the exams, and she did not tell about it to her mother. It was found that the girl expressed suicidal thoughts via social networks.

A criminal case was initiated on Article 102 part 1 of the Kazakhstan Criminal Code (incitement to suicide).
