Taklamakan Rally-2014 starts in May in China

BEIJING. January 23. KAZINFORM - Taklamakan Rally-2014 starts in the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region in northwest China on May 5 and it will last for 14 days.
Sports teams will have to overcome 6500 kilometers. The route includes 12 special sections. Some routes lie along the Silk Road including Lake Lop Nor, the Turpan Basin and Hami Depression.
February 10 Almaty will host a press conference where Taklamakann Rally organizers will talk about the history of the event and future prospects.
