Tajikistan President appoints new Ambassador to Kazakhstan

DUSHANBE. KAZINFORM - President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon appointed Nazirmad Alizoda as Ambassador to Kazakhstan, the press service of the President said.

Alizoda will replace Bakhrom Kholnazarov who previously resigned due to "the transfer to another job."

Diplomatic relations between Tajikistan and Kazakhstan were established on January 7, 1993. Diplomatic Mission of Tajikistan started its operation in June 1993. Diplomatic mission of Kazakhstan operates in Dushanbe since April 1998.

Tajik-Kazakh bilateral relations develop in political, trade, economic, scientific, technical, cultural and other spheres, AKI Press reported.
