Tajikistan develops health and eco-tourism

KAZINFORM /Muratbek Makulbekov/ The number of foreign tourists in Tajikistan amounted to 1 mln per a year; Deputy Chairman of the Committee on Tourism and Sport of Tajikistan Lochin Faisulloyev has informed of it at the plenary session of the18th session of the General Assembly World Tourist Organization.
According to him the measures taken by the head of the Republic let significantly increase flow of tourists. In 2000 about 100 thousand foreign tourists visited Tajikistan.
"At the moment the health and eco-tourism is developing in Tajikistan", L. Faizulloyev noted emphasizing readiness of the Republic to cooperation in the field of tourism.
