Tajik President Emomali Rahmon to embark on state visit to Kyrgyzstan

On March 12-13, President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon will make a state visit to the Kyrgyz Republic, Khovar News Agency reports citing the Tajik Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The agenda of the state visit includes discussion of Tajik-Kyrgyz relations and other issues of mutual interest.
Following the talks, a number of intergovernmental agreements will be signed.
Earlier, heads of government of Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan – Adylbek Kasymaliyev and Qohir Rasulzoda - held negotiations in Dushanbe to discuss the prospects for the development of trade-economic ties. The parties discussed in detail a wide range of topical issues of bilateral cooperation, emphasizing the need to raise the bilateral trade to $500 million by 2030.
