Swiss businessmen keen to invest into Kazakhstan's economy
ASTANA. April 13. KAZINFORM Kazakhstan's Ministry of Industry and New Technologies received a Swiss delegation headed by Head of the Federal Department of Economic Affairs, Education and Research and Federal Councillor Johann N. Schneider-Ammann in Astana this week, the ministry's press service reports.
The meeting dedicated to the issues of commercial and economic cooperation between the two countries brought together more than 40 reps of large Swiss companies in the field of engineering, electric engineering, transport, logistics, tourism, etc.
Heads of Novartis International AG, ABB Schweiz AG, Centravo, Swiss Rail, Leica Geosystems AG, to name a few, attended the meeting.
The Swiss side reiterated its interest in cooperation with Kazakhstan in the sphere of tourism, chemistry, pharmaceuticals, engineering, mining industry, agricultural sector, railway transport and logistics.
