Supreme Mufti congratulates Kazakhstanis on the beginning of Ramadan month
Chairman of the Spiritual Administration of Muslims of Kazakhstan, Supreme Mufti Nauryzbai Kazhy Taganuly congratulated Kazakhstanis on the beginning of the Sacred Month of Ramadan, Kazinform News Agency reports.
In his congratulatory telegram, the Supreme Mufti said Ramadan is the Sultan of 12 months, the blessed month of forgiveness. He calls to hurry to receive gratification and contentment of the Almighty Allah to purify the inner world in the month of great virtue and apology.
He added fasting is not just abstinence from all food or drink during the day, fasting is a time of soul-nurturing and healing of the body.
The Supreme Mufti urges all Kazakhstanis to contribute during the holy month to the charity and construction of important things such as roads, bridges, schools, mosques, madrasahs, kindergartens, and sports complexes built for the public wealth.
