Supreme Mufti Absattar Kazhy Derbislai congratulates Kazakhstanis on Kurban-Ait holiday

"On November 27 all Muslims of the world will celebrate this Great holiday. "Kurban-Ait is a peak of universal humanistic traditions; it embodies high ideals of Islam", a message of congratulation reads.

"The holiday embodies care of relatives and compassion to the people in need. It is a tradition to wake up early, put on the bets clothes, be friendly and visit parents, elders and sick relatives and remember the dead with prayers on this day.

Muslims of our Motherland take every effort for good of our country, development of our rich cultural and spiritual traditions, strengthening inter-ethnic harmony and religious tolerance and mutual respect. Our President Nursultan Nazarbayev gives special attention to this issue. The relations of friendship, harmony and respect are our major pride and common heritage which we must preserve and praise Allah for it", the Chief Mufti says.

Absattar Kazhy Derbisali congratulates all Muslims of the country, wishes happiness and well-being. "Let the Kazakhstani society live in peace and harmony, welfare and prosperity", the message reads.
