Supreme Court Chairman receives UNICEF representative

"During the meeting K.Mami praised the work of UNICEF in Kazakhstan, in particular, the successful implementation of pilot projects to establish juvenile courts in Astana and Almaty. Head of the Supreme Court thanked the Fund for its assistance in the establishment and development of national juvenile judiciary and expressed interest in deepening muutual cooperation", the statement reads.

Jun Kukita noted Kazakhstan's active work on the protection of children's rights and interests. He suggested to develop a joint package of documents about the unique experience of Kazakhstan in the field of juvenile judiciary and to submit it to the attention of the international community.

According to the press service, the parties also discussed the issues of further partnership in the field of reconciliation, mediation and divergence.
