Suicide bomber kills four, wounds over 20 people in Kabul
KABUL. July 18. KAZINFORM A suicide bomber has killed four and injured 23 people in an attack targeting a NATO convoy, an Afghan Interior Ministry spokesman said on Sunday; Kazinform refers to RIA Novosti.
According to specified data, the suicide bomber riding a bicycle rammed into the NATO convoy in the fourth district of the Afghan capital. All the four people killed in the incident were civilians, Zemarai Bashary said, adding that two foreign servicemen were injured in the attack.
The attack occurred just two days before foreign ministers, including UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon, and U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, were expected to gather in Kabul for an international conference on the future of Afghanistan; Kazinform cites RIA Novosti. See www.en.rian.ru
