Suicide bomber blasts self in Grozny; five injured

GROZNY. October 22. KAZINFORM. A suicide bomber blew himself up in Chechnya's capital Grozny on Wednesday evening when a police detail was approaching him. Four police officers and a civilian were slightly injured. The incident occurred in Sadovaya Street at around 21:00, near a recreation center under construction; Kazinform refers to Itar-Tass.
Chechnya interior Minister Russian Alkhanov said "none of the police officers was seriously injured."
Subsequent report said the Chechen law-enforcement bodies had identified the suicide bomber.
