Suicide blast rocks southern Afghan province, wounds 24

KANDAHAR, Afghanistan. February 24. KAZINFORM A suicide blast rocked Kandahar province Thursday, injuring 24 people, police said. Kazinform refers to Xinhua.
"A suicide car bomb rocked Spin Boldak district this morning leaving 24 persons injured including 16 civilians," commander of police force there in the district Abdul Razaq told Xinhua.
He also added that the bomber was driving an explosive-laden car when identified by security personnel he blew himself up in the bazaar of Spin Boldak injuring 24 people.
"Among those who received injuries there are 16 civilians and eight security personnel," the official said.
