Sub-regional Workshop on Education for Sustainable Development started in Almaty

ASTANA. June 29. KAZINFORM Sub-regional Workshop on Education for Sustainable Development, organized by the OSCE Centre in Astana, United Nations Economic Commission for Europe, Central Asia Regional Environmental Centre, Government of Switzerland has started its work in Almaty on Thursday. It will last untill 30 June.
The workshop brings together representatives from state agencies, international and non-governmental organizations, and academia from Central Asian countries.
The event discusses ways to integrate education for sustainable development into national education policies, development of national plans and strategies, and challenges that Central Asian countries face, the press service of the OSCE Centre in Astana reports.
