Sturgeon fish farm to be built in Atyrau

ATYRAU. January 4. KAZINFORM — Sturgeon fish farm to be build in Atyrau with the capacity of 100 tons of fish per year.
The farm construction worth 500 million tenge is already underway. It is constructed within the Industrialization Map program. The aquaculture will annually produce 100 tons of sturgeon, one ton of caviar as well as incubate 100,000 juvenile fishes.
Commercial fish farm will consist of factory buildings, three ponds and a pump station. The first consignment of equipment should arrive to the site in January.
