Strong winds cause damage in New York City

NEW YORK. October 8. KAZINFORM Strong winds on Wednesday caused some damage in New York City, leaving thousands of homes without power, Kazinform refers to Xinhua.
No injuries were reported so far.
The U.S. National Weather Service said that it has gotten reports of some wind gusts of up to 50 miles (about 80 kilometers) per hour.
