Strong wind tore roofs, caused power outage in Zhambyl rgn

ASTANA. December 24. KAZINFORM Strong wind of more than 20 m/s ripped the roof of a building of JSC "Kazakhtelecom" branch in Zhambyl region at 1:00 pm on Sunday, said the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Kazakhstan.
In addition, the roof was ripped off the central district hospital and 11 apartment buildings. Karatau town and 13 villages remained without electricity as a result of the power outage.
At 8:50 pm emergency repair work was completed, power was fully restored.
