Strong wind, precipitation forecast in Kazakhstan Dec 29

According to Kazhydromet, heavy precipitation (rain, snow) will hit northern regions and mountainous districts of the south and southeast of Kazakhstan. Foggy and icy road conditions, as well as gusting wind and snowstorm are forecast across the country.

Wind speed may exceed 30 meters per second in  southwestern regions, in mountainous districts of Zhambyl region, in the north, east and south of the North Kazakhstan region, in mountain passes of Turkistan region, in the daytime in the north of Akmola region, in the north, southeast of the East Kazakhstan region, in the south, east of Kostanay region, in the west and central parts of Abai region, and in the area of Alakol Lake in Zhetysu region.
