Strengthening of China-Kazakhstan cooperation to ensure sustainable development in region - Wen Jiabao
ASTANA. February 22. KAZINFORM Issues of Kazakh-Chinese bilateral relations were discussed at the meeting of Head of State Nursultan Nazarbayev with Premier of the State Council of China Wen Jiabao on Tuesday.
Wen Jiabao expressed confidence that N. Nazarbayev's visit would give an impetus to further development of Kazakh-Chinese cooperation. "I am sure that strengthening of cooperation between our states will ensure sustainable development and peace in the region," the Premier said.
The President of Kazakhstan thanked Mr. Wen Jiabao for warm reception and noted that it was his first official visit in 2011. N. Nazarbayev noted that his visit took place on the threshold of the session of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress in China, where a number of important decisions would be made.
