Storm alert in effect across Kazakh capital and 15 regions

Fog is expected in most of Kazakhstan on December 24, Kazinform News Agency cites Kazhydromet.
Astana is forecast to wake up to foggy streets today.
High wind is predicted to sweep through Zhetysu region.
Fog is also expected to blanket Mangistau, Karaganda, Ulytau, Turkistan, West Kazakhstan, Abai, East Kazakhstan, Kostanay, Pavlodar, Akmola, Almaty and Atyrau regions.
Ice-slick is reported to form on the roads in West Kazakhstan.
Ground blizzards and ice slick are forecast to grip Akmola, North Kazakhstan regions.
High wind is expected to roll through Aktobe region.
As earlier reported, high wind and fog battered Kazakhstan on Monday.
