State support of construction sector allowed to slow down its decline by 4.9%

ASTANA. February 9. KAZINFORM The state support of the construction sector allowed to slow down the rate of decline in the sector by 4.9% last year. Kazakh Minister of Economy and Budget Planning Bakhyt Sultanov said at the Government session Tuesday.
He noted that 6.4 mln sq m of accommodations were commissioned in 2009. The growth was observed in Kyzylorda, Almaty regions, Astana and Almaty cities.
In the field of equity construction problems of over 17 thousand home owners were solved last year. 112 facilities were put into operation as well.
