State-of-the-Nation Address immensely impressed everyone in Kazakhstan: A. Dumler
ATYRAU. January 21. KAZINFORM Head of the German Ethnic Cultural Association "Wiederburg" in Kazakhstan Alexander Dumler says he's hugely impressed by the State-of-the-Nation Address by President Nazarbayev "Kazakhstan's way-2050: Common goal, common interests, common future".
"It will be no stretch to say the whole region and the whole country are immensely impressed by the State-of-the-Nation Address. Millions of people across Kazakhstan wait impatiently for the president's message every year.
When I was listening to the President's Address this year, my thoughts turned back to early 90s, when I had a chance to harken Nursultan Nazarbayev's address to a group of miners in Karaganda. "We are going to build a socially oriented state for our people," the Kazakh leader said back then. It's been 20 years and look where we are now: we are discussing Kazakhstan's way-2050 and joining the club of the world's 30 most developed countries.
Our foreign partners wonder how we've achieved that in such a short run," A. Dumler said.
