State Counselor Karin highlights importance of systemic approach in military patriotic education
Kazakh State Counselor Erlan Karin held a meeting on military patriotic education with the participation of the leadership of the Ministries of Defense, Culture and Information, Enlightenment, Science and Higher Education, representatives of the General Prosecutor’s Office, departments of the Presidential Administration and Parliament deputies at the Akorda, Kazinform News Agency reports.
The meeting focused on the current issues of efficient realization of the initiatives of the Head of State in the field of military patriotic education.
During the meeting, Karin noted that under the domestic political activity, the government bodies carry out certain measures on military patriotic education. In particular, the new education program has been initiated at schools; the corresponding draft law is under consideration in the Parliament; the Defense Ministry developed the 2030 Military Patriotic Education Concept.
The State Counselor highlighted the importance of a systemic approach and overall coordination of the ongoing work. According to him, priority steps in this direction should be the formulation of a conceptual framework, formation of a legal framework and development of a unified action plan of all government bodies and institutions.
Following the meeting, Erlan Karin gave specific instructions to the responsible government bodies, noting that such meetings are to be conducted on a permanent basis to improve mechanisms of work in the field of military patriotic education.
