State Commission on Kazakhstan's OSCE chairmanship to foster realization of country's strategic goals

According to the Russian political expert, creation of the State Commission on Kazakhstan's OSCE chairmanship sets the best pattern of Kazakhstan's activeness in preparation for the upcoming chairmanship in the Organization.  The last months of the outgoing year are considered to be the period of consideration of the OSCE budget for the next year. "Creation of the State Commission when Kazakhstan is going to take the office of the OSCE chairman is important for adopting decisions on financing the OSCE projects and practical activity for the upcoming year", A. Vlasov noted and added that the State Commission would be entrusted with a mission to develop certain propositions on the basis of the strategy of Kazakhstan's future OSCE chairmanship.

Commenting on the last appointments in the Kazakh Foreign Affairs Ministry, the expert noted that the Kazakh MFA was one of the most qualified departments of the republic in administration sphere. "This is not only a merit of Marat Tazhin who, undoubtedly, greatly contributed to optimization of the Foreign Office's work, but also of his predecessors, including current Minister Kanat Saudabayev who held the post of the Kazakh FM in early 90s", he said.

"Marat Tazhin is one of the most successful and weighty political technologists in Kazakhstan and today his abilities are more necessary in internal policy, on the post of the Secretary of the National Security Council", A. Vlasov noted. "As for Kanat Saudabayev, to my mind, the Head of the State decided that such consistent and pedantic person as K. Saudabayev will complete that huge preparatory work carried out in the past years while preparing for the OSCE chairmanship", he added.

"I would also like to remind that Nursultan Nazarbayev remains the main figure realizing work  in light of the country's forthcoming chairmanship in the OSCE", A. Vlasov resumed.
