Stage collapse leaves 1 dead, 75 wounded in western Canada

OTTAWA. August 3. KAZINFORM One person was killed and at least 75 people injured after a heavy storm brought down a stage in western Canada on Saturday, according to reports reaching here on Sunday, Kazinform cites Xinhuanet.
The accident happened during the Big Valley Jamboree near Edmenton, capital of Alberta province. Hurricane-level winds, together with marble-sized hail, battered the audience, causing the main stage to collapse into pieces, the reports said.
Organizers said about 75 people were injured, in addition to the death of one woman, Kazinform refers to Xinhuanet.
