Stage collapse leaves 1 dead, 75 injured in western Canada

OTTAWA. August 3. KAZINFORM. One person was killed and at least 75 people injured after a heavy storm brought down a stage in western Canada on Saturday, according to reports reaching here on Sunday; Kazinform refers to Xinhua.
The accident happened during the Big Valley Jamboree near Edmenton, capital of Alberta province. Hurricane-level winds, together with marble-sized hail, battered the audience, causing the main stage to collapse into pieces, the reports said.
