Spring sowing space to make up 19.1 mln ha this year

ASTANA. March 29. KAZINFORM /Damir Baimanov/ According to akimats (administrations) of oblasts, the spring sowing space is forecasted to make up 19.1 mln ha this year. Minister of Agriculture Akhylbek Kurishbayev has announced it at the Government's telephone conference on Monday, March 29.
"Expansion of crop area is expected due to priority cultures", the Minister emphasized.
Grain crops are planned to be placed on the area covering 16.7 mln ha, oilseeds - 1.4 mln ha.
