Spouse of Malaysian PM honored in Almaty

ALMATY. June 20. KAZINFORM Datin Paduka Seri Rosmah Mansor, the wife of current Prime Minister of Malaysia - Najib Razak, has paid a friendly visit to Almaty today.
She was honored with the title of professor emeritus of the International Information Technology University (IITU).
The Malaysian Prime Minister delegated his spouse to Almaty to commend close and fruitful cooperation between the Malaysian tertiary institutions and the young Kazakhstani university.
Rosmah Mansor frequently participates in humanitarian and charitable work. She is known for her efforts in advancing child education and development through nurturing program named PERMATA.
Currently some 6 000 citizens of Kazakhstan study in Malaysia.
