Sports facilities dramatically changed the face of Sochi and Krasnodar Krai, says Nazarbayev
ASTANA. August 20. KAZINFORM As reported earlier, President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev attended the International Professional Combat Sambo Tournament in Sochi on personal invitation of Russian leader Vladimir Putin this weekend.
According to official mass media, the presidents of Kazakhstan and Russia discussed a wide range of issues of bilateral and multilateral cooperation and eyed the progress of implementation of previously reached agreements during the unofficial meeting.
In his speech at the tournament in Sochi Nursultan Nazarbayev noted that 'the face of the city and the whole Krasnodar Krai has dramatically changed thanks to the new sports facilities created there over the short term.'
Reps of Kazakhstan Alash Pride Fight Club - Arman Ospanov and Murod Khanturayev were named among the winners of the tournament, the president's press service reports.
