Sport plays important positive role in modern world: S.Dossanov

It is based on the ideas of peace and friendship among nations. Holding of the Asian Games in Kazakhstan demonstrates great confidence of the world community in our country. Laureate of International Prize named after M.Sholokhov, academician of the Russian Academy of Pedagogical and Social Sciences, Professor Sabit Dossanov told a Kazinform correspondent.

According to him, the fact that this event will be held in the year of the 20^th anniversary of Kazakhstan's independence is of special importance. "The country managed to earn a great reputation in the world during a short historic period. Today every Kazakhstani is proud of his country", S.Dossanov said.

"The Asian Games should be an impetus for mass sports development. We should pay more attention to this sphere", the writer noted.
