Special representative of Kazakh President to Baikonur space center named

By the decrees of the President of Kazakhstan and the governor of the Kyzylorda region, Serik Kozhaniyazov was designated new deputy governor of the region and special representative of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan at the Baikonur space center. He is expected to replace Mr. Rzakul Nurtayev. Prior to the new appointment, Mr. Kozhaniyazov served as the head of the regional development department at the prime minister's chancery. In addition, Talgat Duisebayev was named as akim of Zhalagash district, Kairatbek Sarsenbayev was appointed as akim of Shiyeliysk district.
