Speakers of Majilis and Verkhovna Rada discuss interparliamentary cooperation

The meeting took place in the Tauride Palace within the sessions of the interparliamentary assemblies of the CIS, EurAsEC and the CSTO Parliamentary Assembly held in Saint Petersburg, Kazinform has learnt from the press service of the Majilis.

Issues of interparliamentary cooperation and further strengthening of Kazakh-Ukrainian bilateral ties were on agenda of the meeting.

Besides, Kazakhstani parliamentarians headed by U. Mukhamedzhanov participated in a rally-requiem in remembrance of T.G. Shevchenko. The Kazakh delegation took part also in the 36^th plenary session of the Interparliamentary Assembly of the CIS as well as in an international scientific conference devoted to the 65^th anniversary of Nuremberg trials.

The interparliamentary ties between Kazakhstan and Ukraine have been actively developing both in bilateral and multilateral formats as well as within the international organizations.
