Spartakiad among state officials held in Astana for the Day of National currency
ASTANA. November 12. KAZINFORM - Annual Spartakiad has taken place in the Ice Palace “Alau” for the Day of the national currency of the Republic of Kazakhstan and to celebrate the professional holiday of financial systems workers of the country. This information was shared with astana.kz in the metropolitan Department of tourism, physical education and sport.
The Spartakiad was held in 5 sports: volleyball, chess, ping-pong, arena football and billiard. Teams of state officials, Departments, Administrations and district akimats of Astana city took part in the competitions, astana.kz reports.
Following the results of the competitions, the 1st place in team classification was taken by the metropolitan Tax Committee, the 2nd place was won by the team of the Department of Treasury of Astana city, and the 3rd place was taken by the metropolitan Financial control inspection.
Note that following the results of the competitions in arena football, the team of the metropolitan Department of Treasury was the winner, the team of Astana city Tax Committee was the strongest in volleyball. Chess competitions were successful for the team of the metropolitan Financial control inspection, the 1 place in ping-pong was won by the team of the metropolitan Administration of economy and budget planning, and the team of Astana city Administration of finance won in competition in billiard.
The main tasks and objectives of the events include mass sports development, strengthening of positive image, promotion of healthy lifestyle, and attracting of state officials to sports.
