Spain's richest woman dies after stroke

MADRID. August 16. KAZINFORM The Spanish co-founder of clothing and retail giant Inditex, which includes the Zara brand, has died. Rosalia Mera, who was 69, suffered a stroke.
According to Forbes magazine, her wealth totalled 4.7 billion euros.
Mera, who left school to become a seamstress, built Inditex from the foundations with her then-husband Amancio Ortega.
The couple divorced and she held onto 5.1 percent of Inditex.
