Spain-Kazakhstan relations developing intensively - Moratinos

ALMATY. May 13. KAZINFORM /Yelena Ilyinskaya/ Relations between Spain and Kazakhstan are at the peak of development. Former Foreign Minister of Spain Miguel Angel Moratinos said it during the talks with Kazakh Foreign Minister Yerzhan Kazykhanov in Almaty on Friday.
The sides discussed a number of topical issues including the consequences of the financial-economic crisis and socio-political development of the two states. They considered the progress of implementation of the Millennium Declaration.
Speaking about the food security Minister Kazykhanov called it one of the priorities of Kazakhstan's internal and foreign policy. He stressed that Kazakhstan intended to pay special attention to this issue.
