Soyuz-2.1а assembled at Baikonur

BAIKONUR Space Port. July 20. KAZINFORM Experts of Progress and Yuzhny Space Centers began assembly operations with Soyuz-2.1а in integration and test facility 31 of Baikonur. Once assembly of the rocket's stack is completed, the Soyuz is to be put into storage.
According to the Roscosmos press service, fregat upper stage and Globalstar-2 satellites are to be delivered to the space port in early September. Soyuz-2.1a/Fregat are to loft a cluster of 6 Globalstar satellites in October.
